Who do you think should be part of the ESVS EDI task force?
Your opinion matters to us! Tell us who you think should be part of the EDI (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion) Task Force!
It is important to us that our community feels safe and included, which is why we recently opened a call for applications for ESVS members to be part of the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Task Force.
We received overwhelmingly great feedback on this initiative. The applications closed on the 19th of December 2023. Now, as a part of our membership and our community, your opinion matters to us.
Please choose the 6 individuals you would like to see form the EDI Task Force.
We encourage you to select individuals who represent your view of diversity and the principles of Equality and Diversity that the ESVS aspires to (you can consult the original Task Force proposal here).
The Task Force will be comprised of 6 people with the highest number of votes who fulfil the following criteria:
- from 6 unique countries of practice
- with at least 1 representative in training
- with at least 1 representative in early practice (year 1 – 5 of practice)
- with at least 1 representative in later practice
- with at least 1 man
- with at least 1 woman
On the 21st of December 2023, you received a survey from natalie@esvs.org via SurveyMonkey. It will include the voting link. This voting link is individual and should not be shared. Once your vote is cast, you cannot vote again. Please make sure to check your spam folder.
Voting will remain open from the 21st of December 2023 – 7th of January 2024 at 23:59 CET.
Who can vote?
- ESVS Members with a 2023 Membership.
- ESVS Members who purchased a 2024 Membership before the 21st of December.
- Individuals who purchase an ESVS membership after the 21st of December and who previously did not have a 2023 membership will receive a voting link when the ESVS office reopens.
The ESVS office will be closed from the 22nd of December 2023 in the afternoon. If you have any issues, we will reply after the 2nd of January 2024.
The official members of the Task Force will be announced in January 2024.
